b6 s4 motor swap with some goodies

Picked up a really nice 04 s4 with a bad motor for a steal and a wrecked donor car with a good motor. While the motors out im installing a b7 Rs4 clutch, pressure plate and flywheel, alomg with a milltek stainless catback exhaust, and lltek patinum cold air intake. Im about 60% through the swap at the moment. Ill add pics and vids as I finish.

Are you doing any work on the timing chain system?

2nd on doing the chains guides and JHM mechanical tensioners while the engine is out. They all fail eventually.

At minimum im replacing the cam adjusters, beyond that it just depends on how things look

Most of the guides are mostly plastic, pulling the rear cover and not doing them just isn't smart.
