I just rewatched your videos Ed... and ya, I seriously hope my 4k with the 5857 comes close to what your car does (-100hp + 4kq weight savings). Either way, I just had to say I love your car man.

Your car will be faster bcuz gears if you can shift quick enough...

Only chance will be 40-100 maybe. Useless 1-2 in the 4kq and poor aero hurt. Weight doesn't hurt quite so much at speed, as aero is far much more force to overcome.

yep, not to mention you're dropping out of boost when you shift. Unless you have something set up to overcome that, the longer gears are gonna be faster if all else is equal.

Good call Hank, I wasn't thinking about aero, driving a box around doesn't help. :P

Hmm, Maybe, later down the road I will get excited and play with anti-lag or something to help keep boost up between shifts.

Lol I've launched it a few times, just not on dry pavement :)

275's going on soon... more grippage = more breakage

Both stock at the moment! Much stiffer mounts are on the list. Rear end is already set with poly on the rear diff and rear subframe. Solid front subframe bushings as well.

Fuel system build commencing soon... obligatory "on the bench" pic :) Not pictured is a Honeywell fuel pressure sensor which will feed a signal to VEMS.
