Chris, I think I've come to the conclusion that the Avus's are pretty much the best wheels for your car, from what I've seen.

I know...they have REALLY grown on me. I think it looks great with them paintless actually. I also think that with spacers to push them out roughly flush with the fenders that the car would look perfect...that is, after I finish the new front strut mounts and get the front a bit lower ;)

If the style 5's don't look good, then I'll be able to sell them or put 'em on my dad's E36 so I'm still putting huge amounts of effort into them.

It'd be nice if you could hear the damned thing! My camera sucks with sound (and the wastegate makes it hard to hear anything). I am on a mission to get it though, don't worry ;)

Well GoPro is ordered for x-mas, so I'm sure there'll be some good vids then.

In other news, I FINALLY found some bolts that fit my adapters. I went through so many bolts. Even my ground down stock lug bolts wouldn't clear. If I would have ground them anymore there wouldn't be a way to torque them. Ended up finding them at prestigewheel.com

They are less than 15mm from the bottom of the cone to the top of the head

Image

just need a tire now and I can test fit one wheel.

Also waiting on the machine shop to contact me about the strut mounts. Then I can finally do some justice to the BBS's with some awesome stance.

Well they are only 8 wide, so they will probably poke in the front almost exactly like yours do...that is until I camber them in. They'll only be on for show purposes. Never for actual daily driving. I think with full neg camber they'll be flush. I hope at least.

Thank ya!

And yes, I'm super excited for the GoPro. You like wakeboarding...there is going to be some ridiculous wake footage. I'm sure of it. I cannot wait. At PRI this past weekend I got to see the new 3d setup for the GoPro. Its two of them in one case. The kit for the case and a cable to merge the video signals is only $100. Not out yet because they don't have a good enough vid editing software to go with it. Final Cut Pro can do it, but thats 'spensive. They might make something proprietary for it. All of that aside, I saw footage from it and it was AWESOME!!!!!!! All I'll need is a 3D TV to go with it lol. Oh and another GoPro.

3D is freakin awesome. Have you looked into Adobe Premeire? I have had really good luck with their editing software. I'm not sure if it has 3D capability though. Either way, I am sure your going to have some awesome wakeboarding footage!

Yeah, I'm kinda frustrated with Adobe at the moment because I can't deactivate some of my programs from my old computers which I don't have anymore. I need to call them to sort it out I suppose. I do like Premiere, After Effects, PS, etc. I love all of Adobe's products really.

lol, you should ask one of the spammers that post about adobe products on here from time to time for help! :)

your wiring harness adapter is done, just waiting for the donor ECU to come in so I can ship out your order BTW. should be this week.

You're gonna like those wheels on the 200 so much that you won't be able take them off 8)

You'll make the excuse that you're always on your way to a show haha

haha you're probably right. I had a pic with them being test fitted without tires that I was looking at the other day. I blurred my eyes to see what it would look like with tires and it was epic haha

Marc, thanks for the info. Can't wait to get soldering lol also can't wait to get the thing not backfiring. Its gotten worse lately with some smaller misfires in high boost like before. I think another set of plugs are in order soon, but thats a separate problem from the big pops I get :D

**edit** crap we are on page 100...this is crazy lol I feel like such a nerd

I've had a lot of trouble trying to find them in the past. I wish I could just make some. Anyone who has them, I'll take some off of your hands ;)

I have an extra set i think. infact i might have two. I always snag them when i go to the parts yard. Bad habit i have of buying grills, then cutting them up to see what i can do with them.

I dunno man, the trailer hitch is going to have to wait a while. I need to scrape off the undercoating and then weld it to the frame rails...not to mention I have to cut it up to fit my exhaust in there. Its not an easy project since I don't have a mig. Also have to buy some square tube to modify it.

oh and I forgot to mention...I am considering having the rears widened in the future. They can only go inward (so much room to do that), but the extra wideness would be awesome.
