I spent SO much time machining the Motorsport wheels! I'm glad the car went to a good home. I have since replaced my Audi with something else however:

Listen to Dave, he knows from first hand experience about stock rods and lots of torque.

The wheels are going to a good home locally.

Looks to me like a mid 60's GTV.
Edit: just realized it has four headlights not two.

It's a 1973 GTV 2000, spelled ALFA. It has a turbo kit from JAFCO that my father put on in 1979. I didn't mean to steal the thread.

Great idea Darin. Bad timing for help or I would totaly give you a hand. Right after I get off work tomorrow morning, I got to go start porting on a 3b head and try to get it done by sun/mon to make a little extra cash for more car stuff. Vicious circle these cars you know. Just a little if I were you, while that head is off, I would replace the valves while I was in there. I wish I had done when I replaced my rods last year. That's the only thing about my motor that worries me now.
But, if you get in a bind, call me and I can spare an hr or two.

WOOT! I've been thinking a lot about it Darin and I can't wait to see how my set-up is going to compare to yours. After riding in the 80, I HOPE mine is in about the same league.

Saturday or Monday. Depending on when I feel like it, although Saturday will be 50 degrees out so a nicer day. If you have a preference let me know.

Normally I could help, especially being less than 10 miles away...but I'll be about 500 miles away until Monday.

Engine should be out next Saturday. Lots of leaks. It will be nice to clean the engine bay.

FYI Dave, I fibbed to you a while back... Standard k24 rebuild kits will rebuild your kkk 7400.

The engine didn't quite make it out last Saturday, but almost. Definitely this week. Saturday morning I sat in front of the computer and watched Jim's video of Laguna and stared longingly at those fenders and 275s. Damn you Jim. It motivated me though to get in the garage.
Get rods in.
Get 01E.
B4 rear fenders and pray 255s can squeeze under.
Damn you Jim Green.

I'm thinking 265s could fit in the CQ.
