I'll post a screen of my timing map. It's NOT aggressive. Here's the thing.. my MAT IGN timing retard table was pulling 6+ degrees out. AND I had removed two degrees from Marc's base. So we upped the timing table four degrees and fixed the timing pull. This yielded an approximate 6-10* (depending where) increase in timing, which made the dyno go WOO WOOOO

Okay, timing map and mat ign retard tables:

I need to email Marc about the MAT sensor discrepancy. I might try the 1.8t one that dad had in his car and see if it's any better. Also, from looking at the logs, MAT was 73 on the dyno, and 53 on the street. Need more fans Brady! :D

I think I can pretty safely up the boost... Martin emailed me asking why my torque was so low. Probably not in the greatest spot on the efficiency map at 23psi for one thing. I think with a PSI or two I'd start seeing some pretty healthy gains. Anyway, I'm super happy, car is a 450+hp monster, party on Wayne! :drunk: :guns: :drive:

Love seeing these real numbers. Not that inflated E85 crack everyone is high on.

If I could get it easy I'd be high on it too, but I hear withdrawals are a biotch!

Glad you got on a dyno, I hope it holds together for you for a long time :)

For comparison purposes, this is 28psi + meth on da fridge with 30R. Also on Brady's dyno.

You can fill in the 160kpa timing at high RPM if you wish...

Re: more fans :D , if the intercooler and intake were always cool or not hot to the touch, then WTF? 73C should be pretty warm.

I think we were on the right track that there is a sensor calibration curve issue (or maybe sensor ground).

Party on Garth!

Thanks again Brady. I just wish we lived closer.

So I've been thinking about this...

http://pagparts.com/product_info.php?cP ... cts_id=690

As well as trying to find some cheap racing fuel. We have a local small airport, I wonder how much their 110oct would be.

Also dipping the car a maroon red pearl. I guess their "black cherry" with a white base. Not sure about pearl or glossifier though, I'll have to see some examples.

I also have a set of corbeau seats on trade with Martin for my QS seats. If they are racey enough I'll do the swap, but I have a feeling they will be pretty much perfect.

I've been putting the car through its paces. I was at a friend's birthday campfire and ended up taking a bunch of people for rides with launch control. I'm getting it... The reactions are hilarious, they make owning/modding/driving the car worth it.

And lastly, I think I'm gonna sell the car. I'll do the seats, replace the state, fix all the gauges, and then see what happens. I don't think I'd sell for less than 9k though so I'd be most likely waiting.

Starter fixed! Works perfect now! This make me feel really good, it was such a pain in the ass.

As for selling the car, I think it's just timing and wanting something else now that this car is "done" for all intents and purposes. If I go farther it's like an extra 10gs I'd have to spend to make it perfect in my eyes. So I'll either keep it and it will become a very long term thing or I can sell it and put the money into my house.

Plus I think the car I'd like to perfect is actually a mid seventies Z car with an 07k.

Lol taco. The point is I don't want to blow the car up every week.

Heading to jitterbug in Niagara tomorrow. Just have to swap the plugs back to bkr7e first... Not a fan of the random engine death at 7krpm.

Corbeau GT seats installed! I love it. Wife not so much in her current 8+month pregnant state. Thanks for the help with the install, Martin. PICS later since it's dark now. They will need to be refinished, though, but the foam seems to be in good shape.

So i drove the car down to Niagara falls for Jitterbug, with the family, without a hiccup. Kids love boost, I'm doomed.

Found my wheel:

Nardi sport type a. Like the classic but leather with red stitching. Guess I also figured out how to re-cover the Corbeaus! It'll all match my shift boot, lol. Thanks for the inspiration, Sue. Don't even think she's on tpp but whatever.

Found this on ebay? - Super nice wheel! T44/4k splines are different correct?

I hear you on the sell the car, but honestly if you are afraid of blowing it up why not just get it to a nice solid undertuned version for daily, there is no reason that you couldn't keep this running for years and years without huge problems :punch:

money is nice though….

I haven't bought it yet, but it's on the long term list.

I will be putting the car up for sale soon after a detail and I fix the gauges. I just can't afford to keep it, i'm pretty upset but that's life.

Yeah, it's for real. I'm actually not expecting it to sell because they don't really seem to from what I've seen. So it's like... It will maybe just perpetually be for sale? I'm not going to give it away and I can keep on keeping on as I am now, but an extra X thousand dollars would really help a few things move along, and help me stop growing gray hairs.

Aren't they a bit more expensive, less reliable, harder to store and use in any useful way. Mucho faster though.
