Thanks Ben. The new lights really show how oxidized the paint (epecially on the rear) has become. Soon enough i'm gonna do the same routine I did over three years ago to help restore the paint form tornado pink to red.

What shift linkage did you use? mine is jammed into the tunnel hard in the front. do you have picture of the front of the linkage by the slave cylinder? I think I may have shoved the whole shebang back to far as my rear driveshaft bolted right up.
JT4K, The tahoe trip sounds like a great idea to me. We will talk later about that.
Sciroccohp, The shift linkage is modified urs4 linkage/modified 016 linkage. I can try to get a pic, but no promises on how good it's going to be. I can tell you that I remember getting out the BFH and making some room for it all in a few places with the firewall being one of the spots that took the most smashing.
Draky, I'm not worried about the reverse lights for now. Five out of seven wires going to the rear lights are broken at the driver side trunk hinge where the wires are routed, and there is also the fact the the reverse light switch isnt even wired up yet. I have quite a list of wiring to finish and repair. But I was thinkin about trying to remove the tint just on the reverse portion of the center light panel.

Looking good! I may be hitting you up for some questions in the near future as I am gearing up to do a 40v swap in my 95 90sptqt at the end of the month. Derek and I talked briefly at BBQ. Should be a fun build.
Try them when you get the lights wired first Dan before you remove any paint. I was worried about the same on the set I mounted on my car but honestly you cant even tell when you put it in reverse. The light is fine when backing up and I have never had any issues being able to see when backing up at night.
Tahoe will be a lot of fun.... Hopefully we can get a good crew going.

Dan car looks great count me in for Tahoe trip please
Dave is it going to be more fun then the white 84 URQ v8 twin turbo? lol by the way I did not get it.They wanted way too much for it and it needed lots of work. However Derek is working on my coupe Looking forward to see you guys att BBQ2012
JT4K, For sure. I need to get the wiring sorted and then I'll see how good the reverse lights work. Id rather deal with poor light than ruin the tint trying to remove it off the reverse portion.
savagerocco, send a PM to JT4K about the tint. I puchased these already tinted from him so I have no idea what was used.
Selmir, Great to see you finally post on here. It was a pleasure to meet you and you will be invited to tahoe when planning gets going. There will be a thread made when the time comes.
