Re: 1PissedOff90
Finally ended up buying Powerstop B6 calipers, looks very good to me (we'll see how the finish holds up). Just need lines (the B6 is a larger banjo) and pads.

Re: Basic 07K Facts?
For the good of the community...
Pat, It may work for you now, but it's not a good long term solution. The 07k is super simple, but it all starts with #1 being closest to the timing chains. That's #1, you have to ignore its position relative to the crank pulley. Here is the procedure.

Interesting, I'll be following along. My front brakes are a one off but spacing out the fronts isn't too bad.

Re: Kirk's CQ Build - 2020 Update!
Looks pretty nice!
I've thought about putting the Verkline subframes and arms on the 90. Looks like the clearance on lower pillow block to rotor is pretty tight, just the angle?

I feel like they were popular on S2 Forum.

Re: 1PissedOff90
Here is a shot of the B5 rear, the issue is my S2 Sedan hub rotor mounting surface is closer to the caliper carrier than the B5. Given my experience with custom brackets, I'm leaning toward a no adapter solution and reselling the apikol kit. I already have the B6/7 rotors and the ECS rotors I have ...

Re: 1PissedOff90
I'll try and stare at it, and take some pictures, this evening/tomorrow but I don't think I can space the caliper (and carrier) "in"/away from the rotor because the bracket bolts to the outside of the upright and the caliper carrier bolts to the inside of the bracket.

Re: 1PissedOff90
If I read this correctly, I might just need B6/7 rear calipers/carriers! Not the worst news, just means I've accumulated a bunch of B5 stuff I will not need.

Re: 1PissedOff90
Yeah, swapping hubs is a bit of a pain but probably not that expensive. I'd consider grabbing a whole upright pair to avoid messing with bearings.

Not sure about the universal seal option; also need oil and nitrogen. Couldn't get anything done today. Even if I could get a temporary workaround, now I have the dilemma of needing something to drive and both my cars are compromised.

I put mine in the glove box of the CQ; if I was starting over I'd find room under the dash.
