He had to weld on aluminum, so if you are down to do that you may be able to save a few bucks.
So your saying paying more than double for that radiator would be better than some aluminum welding?

Why Do I need a 7a oil pan and pickup?
-To clear the subframe in small chassis, the pickup to match the pan.
Will 7a radiator work?
-Probably would be better to run a bigger core, i have a Ron Davis in my coupe
I'll need an Intake manifold if I want to use AAN valve covers right?

The six speed swap is fairly common with the VW guys, I think its a direct bolt up.
The auto o7k has spacers bolted to the crank. I believe the engine its self is the same

Which flywheel does he start with? the 7a or one for a transverse 07k?audifreakjim wrote:Very true about sealing it up. I got the flywheel balanced.
Also, one word of advice. They are modified 034 flywheels which means they have the shitty ass starter ring. Replace it with a factory 7a or similar.

Re: B4 Carbon Fiber hoods for sale
Has anyone mounted one of these with the stock hood latch pins? On the stock hood the pins screw into floating discs so there's adjustment there, but on this hood they're fixed thus the only adjustment is in the hinge attachment bolts. I spent well over an hour last night trying to align the hood ...

You want to specify if its an 05-06 motor or 07 on for the timing components.

Re: Ben's V8 CQ - Now Eric's!
sweet, I just picked up a 1990 V8 that needs some love.
I know I need door pulls and a rear seat for interior.
Might need injectors or a fuel pump if I cant get it running right after replacing the fuel filter.
Its a 3.6 though not a 4.2
