Re: 3B swapped Audi 90

Can’t really beat SB, enjoy it!

The 2B Christmas party and drive is fun, I met Rudy there.

Not as much going on this side of the States.

Re: Dan's '93 UrS4

Long overdue update…

The car has been sold to Sean in TX. He has named her WILMAA as per the license plate and it carrying the torch as any good classic Audi owner does.

Happy it’s in good hands!

Re: 3B swapped Audi 90

If you are anywhere near Houston you should get together with Sean, Quattrocakes on QW.
He has my, obviously his now, S4. The 2 pearl cars would look great together!

Your car is looking great and getting very close, keep it up.

Yes, that’s a good adjustment location. You will want to confirm the setup between the servo and master is the correct length if this doesn’t work.

You are welcome.
The piston at the stop uncovers a hole that lets the brake fluid flow back into the master cylinder as it heats up and expands.

Looks great, congrats!

Make sure you are returning the master/booster all the way to the internal stop.

Thanks for keeping this unusually cool corner of the internet alive. Would love to see more from your shop but it’s probably impossible to post on top of everything else going on!

Good for you! My S4 gets picked up by it’s new owner tomorrow, it’s hard to let them go :(
It’s going to a good home and that helps…

The bulb sockets often rust. Start unplugging things one at a time until you stop blowing fuses then investigate unplugged circuit.

I agree. I sold an S6 avant I was going to build as an S4 avant with parts from my car. That was 10 years ago and it still wouldn’t be done. Good choice, enjoy your family. They grow up fast!

Re: Dan's '93 UrS4

This car has been a big part of me for a long time. I thought I priced it low enough to sell before I could think about it but it’s not a sought after platform. I’m going to rearrange my garage to fit it. I have a 3 car garage but like a car free bay for projects and storage. I will continue to ...

Re: TCombs UrS4, Coolant leak again, possible rad issue

I have had good luck with a Nissens radiator and evans coolant with a vented cap. The coolant does not need pressure so everything lasts longer. The worst part is completely emptying the system as you can’t mix with water based coolant.

Throw that 034 PCV valve away ASAP and get OEM. I’ve seen ...

Been a long time since my last post, haven't really had anything other than basic maintenance to deal with. Time to part ways as I don't use the car enough to justify keeping it. She deserves someone with more time to devote to it than I have. It has taken me about 3 years to actually post a formal ...
